ALLAMANDA CHANDELIER
A focal point for connection and conversation.
CONCEPT &
COMPOSITION
Designed to be showcased in the self- serve café at the Bohaus Showhome, I approached this piece as both a spatial solution and a sculptural statement, drawing on my background in commercial design.
I chose the Allamanda for its exuberant trumpet shaped flowers, whose layered petals translate seamlessly into light fittings, while the wild meandering vines, once re-imagined in copper, bring a sense of organic movement and energy to the piece.

PROCESS
Each petal of the Allamanda flower was individually hand-cut and shaped to reflect the subtle irregularities found in nature.
The flowers were assembled at varying stages of unfurling, allowing the light to catch each form differently and creating a sense of balance that feels both natural and intuitively pleasing to the eye.
FUNCTIONAL ART
Designed to bring the spirit of the island indoors, the light acts as a warm focal point, inviting people to gather and linger.
The modular nature of this design allows it to be thoughtfully adapted to suit a wide range of settings.
Every space has a story, and I welcome the opportunity to help you tell yours. If you are interested in a bespoke commission or a variation of the design shown here, please get in touch to begin a collaboration.
