FOXTAIL PALM
A sculptural lighting piece in progress, inspired by the natural elegance of the foxtail palm.
IN THE MAKING
Currently in the making, this lamp brings together craftsmanship and botanical form. Each copper frond is being hand-cut and individually shaped to echo the signature twist and curl of foxtail palm foliage. As the layers build, they begin to wrap and weave around a central arc, creating a sense of natural movement.
LIGHT SHOW
A concealed LED strip will run through the copper pipe, with perforations allowing light to filter through the fronds. When complete, the piece will reflect and scatter light across its undulating surfaces, casting rich shadows and warm highlights. This evolving work captures the essence of nature in metal, and will be both a functional light and a luminous sculpture.
