A statement piece for the front porch of a beautiful artist’s home in the Barbadian countryside.
Inspired by the client’s deep love for the Ylang Ylang tree. The tree’s fragrance, a favourite from her childhood, holds deep emotional resonance.
YOUR DESIGN
Each petal has been hand-cut and individually formed to create varied shapes that overlap naturally, designed to suggest movement, as though they might curl or flutter in the wind.
YOUR UNIQUE SPACE
Positioned in the pitched ceiling of the entrance porch, the chandelier greets you upon arrival. Copper Ylang Ylang flowers with their free - flowing forms and overlapping petals cast evocative shadows.
More than a light fixture, this piece draws on both memory and scent.
Inspiration
Each petal has been hammered into shape to ensure each flower is totally unique. The piece was completed with a thoughtfully designed ceiling cover that both conceals the attachment and allows for easy installation.
