Working with large sheets of copper; cutting, hammering and transforming them into shape to mimic the dramatic undulating silhouettes of the Ylang Ylang petals, has been so much fun. I have treated the design with the same attention to detail and care as I do my smaller scale fine work and by doing so, each petal has taken on an energy and life of its own.
