The African Grey Heron Copper Downspout was designed specifically for a house called Safari.
 
In-keeping with the property’s African theme, I chose the heron for his noble appearance, layered plumes and long beak, a perfect funnel for channeling water towards the gully below.
 
In total the downspout measures 6ft in length to sit in line with his friend the Secretary bird "perched" on the other side of the gallery roof overlooking the West Coast.

In his lofty position, exposed to the elements, he is already taking on a beautiful green patina and will only look better with time.
